Raccoons

Raccoons have thick white fur. They have a long tail that has black
rings around it. They have black markings like masked bandits. They have two
front claws that looks like tiny pairs of hands.
Raccoons live in places that are called dens. They live in South
Africa. They live in rocky dens that are dark and smelly. They sleep in the
trees when it is a warm day.
Raccoons eat frogs, tadpoles, turtles, mice, crayfish, fish,
earthworms and grasshoppers. They eat fruit from gardens. They love hunting for
food. They also eat yucky old slimy bugs.
Raccoons in towns and cities find food in
rubbish dumps and garbage cans.
