The Dog Show

One sunny hot day, there was a dog show at my school. Lots of dogs were in the dog show. The first dog that got to go up to show the whole school was Cody’s dog named Jess. There were four tricks for the dogs to do. The first one was walking over a piece of wood. The second one was sitting down in the middle of a hula hoop on the ground. The third one was to walk across the bridge, then the lucky last one was when Cody had to make his dog sit down and walk to a line. Once you get to the line you have to say, "Here boy!" then the dog will come to you. There were lots of people that brought their dogs. Once everyone had a turn at the tricks on the court, they had

to show the whole school what they had practised at home.

Cody was practising with his dog on the field. Makayla, Jacob and Logan were with him as well. Cody’s dog was the first dog to show the whole school. Cody needed three helpers. He chose Logan, Jacob and me. There were three poles we had to hold. I was too scared to hold the poles just in case Jess tripped over it. The next trick was when Logan, Jacob and I were lying on the ground. I closed my eyes because I was also scared that Jess was going to fall on me as Jess had to jump over us while we were lying on the ground. 

The second dog that went was Lez. He was the biggest dog there. It was almost as big as a horse. Quinn said to Lez, "Are you ready, Lez?"

"Woof! Woof!" said Lez. Quinn was so amazed and happy at

how Lez did his tricks.

Raccoons

Raccoons are animals that are almost the size of a fox.They also live in trees and on the ground. The live in South America. Raccoons are nocturnal animals. they sleep during day time. But they hunt during night time.

Raccoons have thick white fur. They have a long tail that has black rings around it. They have black markings like masked bandits. They have two front claws that looks like tiny pairs of hands.

Raccoons live in places that are called dens. They live in South Africa. They live in rocky dens that are dark and smelly. They sleep in the trees when it is a warm day.

Raccoons eat frogs, tadpoles, turtles, mice, crayfish, fish, earthworms and grasshoppers. They eat fruit from gardens. They love hunting for food. They also eat yucky old slimy bugs.

Raccoons in towns and cities find food in rubbish dumps and garbage cans.

Camping At the Beach

It was a sunny day. We were on our way to the beach. It didn’t take long to get there. My sisters and I were asleep but not for long. I woke up and saw lots and lots of trees around us. I was waiting patiently. I knew we were almost there to raglan beach. there was a swiping card that we need so we can give it to a man so we can get into our camping spot. It was so awesome there. 
I could see raglan beach. I'm going to the beach so you and dad set up the tent. well I saw a BIG bouncy pillow. mayby I could go there after I’ve gone to the beach. I rushed silently to the beach. 
The waves were waving loudly they also slurped around my feet. I bravely went into the deep blue water. O.M.G. there could be sharks, crocodiles, jellyfish ,crabs ,and wales in the water. What's that I think I heard the trees whisper to me and the waves grumbling to me wow. That was weird that was really weird. I hopped out of the water and sped to the bouncy pillow. Where I feel safe. Mum Dad I am going to the bouncy pillow. okay. ohh look it’s my cousin with his new friends. who cares I’ll just embarrass him I will laugh because it might be funny.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

One bright day, a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood was skipping into the woods. In her hand, there was a basket of goodies. While she was on her way to her grandmas, this big bad wolf went to spy on her. She was making it to the wooden bridge. She heard a sound. Who is there? 
Oooooooo. 
Once she took  a step on the wooden bridge, the big bad wolf  appeared. "What is in that basket?" he said. 
"It is for my grandma, not for you. Now, bye bye. I need to get to my grandma." 
The big bad wolf  went to her grandma's house. He locked her in the closet without eating her. The big bad wolf  put a cloth tied around her mouth. He got all of Little Red Riding Hood's grandma's stuff. 
Knock! Knock! 
"Who's there?"
"It’s me, Little Red Riding Hood."
"Come in, my dear"
"Grandma, are you okay?" 
"Yes, I am, Grandma. I brought you some goodies." 
"Ok, just put it on the coffee table."
"Wow! You have  big eyes and a big nose. I can hear something." 
Once she turned  around, gulp gulp. 
A man came out of nowhere. "Let that little girl come out of  your tummy!" then that man that came out of nowhere killed the wolf . He just walked out when he killed the big bad wolf.

A Winter Sports DAY

The first game was weird. There were lots and lots of different faces.

A girl named Piper really knows how to play netball. We were not winning because some of the girls weren't even trying. They were just running and jumping. Once the bell rang, we stopped the game and we shook hands.

We got to the St Paul's tent and had a feed then I thought maybe

we should have a practice or we should play passes. Kruz was the leader

of the ball. Lots of girls were playing netball.
We had 5 games and it felt long, so after we had finished our games, we wanted to watch touch. It was fun and sporty. It was a sporty day.

A Winter Holiday

On one cold freezing morning, my sisters and I woke up.  We were waiting for our mum and dad to get up. I asked them if they wanted to go outside to  play and so they said no.

I wrote down a fitness sheet and put down some warm up stuff so we could be warmed up. My two older sisters, Jahnyva and Tyarne, did not want to do it but my little sister did and so we went outside.
It was hot in the house. I went outside and played with my puppy. After that, I wanted to play on my tramp.
Next, I went on my tree and climbed on the tree. The tree was waving so hard.

It was a frozen crispy snowy morning. 
I saw some birds hibernating in the trees. They were snuggled up. I was watching people ice skating.

FRANK AND THE BABY DUCKLINGS

Frank was wondering where that noise was coming from. He went outside to see where that noise was coming from. Suddenly, Frank saw a mummy duck looking for her baby. Frank finally found where that noise was coming from. It was coming from a grate. He was so strong, he opened up the grate and gently lifted the baby ducklings out.While Frank was getting out the ducklings, mother duck was going to and fro.When the baby ducklings came out, they were speeding to their mum. There were eleven ducklings in the grate. After all of the ducklings had been lifted out, they went into the bushes but four of them could not get onto the grass so Frank  lifted them up over the curb.

Swimming Sports

Yesterday it was swimming sports. We all rushed down the hill very fast. We got dressed and went in the pool. The big kids were swimming so fast the water went splash! splash! It looked fun.  I really liked watching  them. I went in the junior  pool. I was in the freestyle race . I really liked it .
